Faecal Incontinence

Faecal incontinence is defined as “the uncontrolled loss of solid or liquid stools, or of wind (gas) with accompanying leakage”. It is a distressing and often embarrassing problem, however it is more common than you think. There are many causes of faecal incontinence and a detailed history and clinical examination is required, in combination with various investigations, to find the cause. Many forms of faecal incontinence may be managed very successfully without surgery.

Mr Eugene Ong is able to perform different procedures as required to manage your incontinence appropriately including Sacral Nerve Stimulation. Please click the button below to find out more about SNS and Pelvic Floor Surgery.
