Irritable Bowel Syndrome (ibs)

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a very common condition which can cause a variety of abdominal symptoms including bloating, discomfort, constipation and diarrhoea. There is no clear cause for this condition however it can usually be successfully managed with medications by your GP or gastroenterologist. At times investigations such as a colonoscopy are required to rule out any other diseases that can be confused with IBS.
